First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests whether adapting radiation therapy each session based on daily organ changes (like bladder filling) can improve treatment for localized prostate cancer. About 100 men aged 60+ with low- or intermediate-risk prostate cancer will receive stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT). The goal is to see if this adaptive approach reduces side effects and maintains effectiveness.
