Smart radiation adjusts to your body daily
NCT ID NCT07344844
Summary
This study is testing whether a more responsive form of radiation therapy is better for treating localized prostate cancer. It compares standard radiation planning to an 'adaptive' approach that checks the position of nearby organs (like the bladder and rectum) before each treatment session and can adjust the radiation plan if needed. The goal is to see if this method more precisely targets the cancer while reducing side effects and maintaining quality of life.
