Summary

This study tests a program called FAMS that enlists family or friends to help young adults (ages 18-24) with type 1 diabetes use their continuous glucose monitor (CGM) more regularly. About 140 participants who already use a CGM will be followed to see if the program improves how often they check their glucose and respond to the data. The goal is to make diabetes management easier and more consistent.
