Game on for aging: sports program aims to boost balance and brainpower in seniors

NCT ID NCT07457996

Summary

This study is testing whether a special exercise program using adapted sports can help older adults improve their balance, physical ability, and thinking skills. About 140 participants aged 60 and older were randomly assigned to either join the sports program or continue their usual daily activities. Researchers will measure changes in balance, mobility, and cognitive function to see if the sports exercises make a difference.
