Summary

This study tests a computer tool designed to help emergency room doctors follow best practices for treating opioid use disorder with buprenorphine. Researchers will enroll 300 adults with moderate to severe opioid use disorder to see if the tool improves care. The goal is to make it easier for doctors to start treatment in the ER.
