Could just two radiation doses beat five for prostate cancer?
NCT ID NCT06835725
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests if giving radiation in just 2 sessions works as well as the standard 5 sessions for men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer. The goal is to see if fewer treatments cause fewer side effects and are more convenient, while still controlling the cancer. All participants will receive advanced prostate tracking and a gel spacer to protect nearby organs. The trial will also test a new AI tool to see if it can improve radiation targeting, but the AI will not be used to guide actual treatment during the study.
