New combo therapy aims to wipe out esophageal cancer before surgery

Summary
This study tests whether adding adalimumab to standard chemotherapy and radiation before surgery can help eliminate esophageal cancer more effectively. About 37 adults with resectable esophageal squamous cell carcinoma will receive this combination. The main goal is to see how many patients have no cancer cells left at the time of surgery.
