NCT ID NCT06864741

First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tests whether a low-cost virtual reality (VR) system can help people who have had a first-time stroke improve arm movement. Forty adults with moderate to severe arm weakness will either receive standard care or add VR therapy sessions. Researchers will measure motor function, motion sickness, and how much patients enjoy using the VR system, aiming to see if this approach is practical and effective for recovery at home.
