Blood test scores may predict pancreatitis severity

NCT ID NCT07233551

First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study will look at 100 adults with acute pancreatitis to see if certain scores calculated from routine blood tests can help predict how severe the disease is and what the outcome might be. Researchers will compare these scores to the standard way of classifying pancreatitis severity. The goal is to find a simpler, faster way to assess patients without extra procedures.
