Major study launches to unlock secrets of sudden kidney failure
NCT ID NCT07338669
Summary
This study aims to understand why some hospitalized adults develop sudden kidney injury (AKI) and what happens to them afterward. Researchers will follow 1,000 patients, collecting health data and samples to identify risk factors and long-term outcomes like heart disease or chronic kidney problems. The goal is to gather knowledge to improve future care, not to test a new treatment.
