Scientists test Low-Oxygen breathing on healthy volunteers

NCT ID NCT04691518

Summary

This study is testing how a single session of brief, controlled low-oxygen breathing affects handgrip strength and brain activity in healthy adults. Researchers want to understand the basic mechanisms of how this breathing technique works in people without injuries. The findings will help explain how this approach might later help people with spinal cord injuries.
