Summary

This study tested a protein drug called rhTNFR-Fc in 26 adults with acute gout to see if it safely reduces joint pain and delays the next flare-up. Participants had a gout attack within 4 days before starting and rated their pain on a 0-10 scale. The goal was to find a new way to quickly ease symptoms and improve quality of life during acute episodes.
