First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at how a moderate dose of THC (the active part of cannabis) affects mood, stress, and thinking in adults who use cannabis at least once a week. Ninety participants will each have two lab sessions—one with active cannabis and one with a placebo—and complete memory, attention, and stress tests. The goal is to better understand cannabis's short-term effects on the brain and emotions.
