Could acupuncture help women avoid medical induction in labor?
NCT ID NCT06357962
Summary
This small pilot study aimed to see if acupuncture could help reduce the need for medical procedures to start labor in low-risk pregnant women. It compared real acupuncture to a simulated treatment to test the idea and plan for a larger future study. The trial was terminated early after enrolling only 8 participants.
