Tiny threads in your back: a new hope for chronic pain?

NCT ID NCT07337187

Summary

This study is testing a one-time acupuncture procedure where tiny, dissolvable threads are placed in the lower back. Researchers want to see if this helps adults with long-term low back pain feel less pain and live better compared to a fake procedure that doesn't break the skin. They will track participants' pain levels, medication use, and quality of life for 8 weeks.
