Tiny needles tested for relief of unexplained stomach pain
NCT ID NCT07210294
Summary
This study is testing whether a type of acupuncture using small press needles can help people with functional dyspepsia, a condition causing ongoing stomach pain, bloating, and fullness without a clear cause. Researchers are comparing real press needles to fake ones to see if they reduce symptoms and improve quality of life over two weeks. The study involves 38 participants who will also continue their regular medication.
