Ancient needles meet modern medicine: can acupuncture take the sting out of prostate biopsies?

Summary
This study is testing whether adding electroacupuncture to local anesthesia can make prostate biopsies more comfortable. It will involve 190 men who need this diagnostic procedure. Researchers will compare real electroacupuncture to a sham (fake) version to see if it effectively reduces pain and anxiety during and after the biopsy.
