First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests whether acupuncture can help people recover faster from a condition called delayed gastric emptying, where the stomach is slow to start working after surgery. About 176 adults who had part of their stomach removed will receive either acupuncture or standard care. The goal is to see if acupuncture reduces symptoms like bloating, nausea, and vomiting, and helps patients eat normally sooner.
