Needles vs. lasers vs. electricity: which acupuncture works best for migraines?

NCT ID NCT07292506

Summary

This study compares three gentle stimulation techniques to see which works best for reducing migraine symptoms. Researchers are testing traditional acupuncture, electroacupuncture (with gentle electrical stimulation), and laser acupuncture (using low-level lasers instead of needles) in 75 adults with migraines. They will track how participants feel and check blood samples for signs of inflammation and brain stress to understand how these treatments might help.
