Summary

This study tested whether adding manual acupuncture to standard chemoradiation helps head and neck cancer patients. 34 adults received either real or sham acupuncture three times a week for seven weeks. Researchers measured white blood cell counts, fatigue levels, and quality of life to see if the real treatment made a difference.
