Needles vs. breech: acupuncture study tests Baby-Flipping claim
NCT ID NCT00813683
Summary
This study tested whether acupuncture can help turn a breech baby (bottom-first) to a head-down position before birth. Researchers enrolled 259 pregnant women whose babies were breech at 32-34 weeks. They compared real acupuncture at a specific point to a sham (fake) acupuncture point to see which was more effective at getting the baby to turn by 35 weeks.
