Summary
This study tested whether adding acupuncture to standard asthma medication helps people feel better and use less medicine. Researchers compared real acupuncture to fake acupuncture in 200 adults with mild-to-moderate asthma over 6 weeks. They measured changes in asthma symptoms, quality of life, and medication use to see if the acupuncture made a difference.
