Summary
This study tested whether a brief ear acupuncture treatment could reduce anxiety in mothers before a planned cesarean section. Researchers compared real acupuncture needles to fake patches and no treatment in 91 participants. The goal was to find a drug-free way to ease common and sometimes severe preoperative anxiety.
