Ancient needle therapy takes on sleepless nights – new study launches

Summary

This study tests whether combining thread embedding acupuncture with ear acupressure can improve sleep in people with non-organic insomnia. Seventy adults aged 40 to 75 will receive either personalized or standard treatment over 8 weeks. Researchers will also check if changes in sleep relate to gut and inflammation markers.
