Can simple exercises ease the lingering pain of breast cancer?
NCT ID NCT06497582
Summary
This small, completed study tested whether two simple, self-administered techniques could help breast cancer survivors manage common long-term symptoms. Fifty-four women who had finished their main cancer treatments and were still experiencing moderate pain, fatigue, and sleep problems were assigned to try either Zhan Zhuang (a standing meditation), self-acupressure, or to wait for the techniques. The goal was to see if these practices could improve their symptoms and quality of life over an 8-week period.
