Zapping away the cough: new study tests Non-Drug relief for lung cancer patients

NCT ID NCT06548711

Summary

This study is testing if a non-drug treatment can help ease a persistent cough that lingers after lung cancer surgery. Researchers are enrolling 84 patients who have had surgery to see if using a special device that delivers gentle electrical pulses to specific points on the skin (Transcutaneous Acupoint Electrical Stimulation) improves their cough symptoms and quality of life. The goal is to find a safe, new option to help patients feel better during recovery.
