Simple touch therapy tested to ease sleep troubles and hopelessness in seniors
NCT ID NCT07435246
Summary
This study tested whether a gentle, non-drug therapy called acupressure could help older adults living in a nursing home. Researchers gave 50 participants either acupressure on specific points three times a week for a month or their usual care. They measured if the therapy improved sleep quality, feelings of hopelessness, and overall quality of life.
