No more tears? new study tests acupressure, scents & VR to calm kids during blood tests

Summary

This study will test if acupressure, music, and virtual reality can help children aged 5-10 feel less pain, fear, and anxiety when getting blood drawn. 120 healthy children will be assigned to one of these methods or standard care. The goal is to find simple, drug-free ways to make blood sampling less stressful for kids.
