First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study will test if acupressure (gentle finger pressure on specific points), listening to music, or watching a virtual reality scene can help children aged 5-10 feel less pain, fear, and anxiety when getting blood drawn. About 120 healthy children will be assigned to one of these methods or standard care. The goal is to find simple, drug-free ways to make blood sampling less stressful for kids.
