Ancient herb injection tested to restore hearing and stop spinning

This study tested whether adding a specific herbal injection at acupuncture points could help people with recent, sudden hearing loss and severe dizziness. All 100 participants received standard medications, but half also received injections of a plant extract called Gastrodin at specific points on the head and body for four weeks. Researchers measured changes in hearing, dizziness, anxiety, and blood flow to see if the combined treatment worked better.
