Can simple texts get burdened caregivers walking?
NCT ID NCT06801912
Summary
This study tests whether personalized text messages can help caregivers of people with Alzheimer's or dementia build a new habit of walking at least 250 steps every hour. Over 12 weeks, 100 caregivers will receive messages designed to make moving more automatic. The main goal is to see if this approach helps at least half of the caregivers form a lasting walking habit to break up long periods of sitting.
