NCT ID NCT04487600
First seen Dec 12, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looked at 130 women having a laparoscopic hysterectomy with same-day discharge. It compared an active voiding trial (filling the bladder with fluid before testing) to a passive one (waiting to pee naturally). The goal was to see which method helps women leave the hospital sooner and avoid bladder issues.
