Can 5-Minute classroom play breaks make kids healthier?

NCT ID NCT07421128

Summary

This study is testing whether adding short, fun 5-minute activity breaks to regular classroom lessons can help elementary school children enjoy physical activity more and improve their health. Over 800 children will participate for 12 weeks, with one group doing the activity breaks and another continuing their normal routine. Researchers will measure changes in the children's enjoyment of movement, fitness levels, motor skills, attention, and overall well-being.
