First seen Dec 18, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding therapeutic exercise and education to standard psychotherapy helps adults with depression feel better than therapy alone. About 112 participants will be randomly assigned to either an 8-week program combining exercise, education, and therapy, or to therapy only. Researchers will measure changes in depressive symptoms, quality of life, and physical activity to see if the combined approach offers extra benefits.
