New hope for kids with deadly brain tumors: ACT001 trial launches

Summary
This study tests a drug called ACT001 in children and young adults (ages 1 to 39) with two types of aggressive brain tumors: DIPG and H3K27-altered high-grade gliomas. The goal is to see if the drug can help control the disease and improve survival. Participants will receive ACT001 after standard radiation therapy, and the study will monitor how long they live and whether their tumors shrink.
