First seen Apr 12, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests if a type of talk therapy called acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) can help people adjust to life after a stroke. Five adult stroke survivors will attend weekly online group sessions for eight weeks and fill out questionnaires about their mood and flexibility. The goal is to see if this approach improves emotional well-being and helps them accept their new circumstances.
