Summary

This study tested whether adding a special type of talk therapy to standard migraine medication could help people who get frequent migraines. The therapy, called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), teaches mindfulness and coping skills. Researchers compared headache frequency and quality of life over a year in 64 adults who received either just medication or medication plus ACT group sessions.
