Summary

This study tests whether combining acceptance and commitment therapy (a mindfulness-based approach) with exercise classes can reduce pain and disability in older adults with chronic low-back pain. Researchers will enroll 100 people aged 60 and older who have had back pain for at least 3 months. Participants will attend group sessions over 8 weeks, and the study will measure changes in pain intensity, disability, and quality of life.
