Tiny blood cells may change how we treat advanced breast cancer
NCT ID NCT05662345
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tracks 65 people with metastatic breast cancer to see if a blood test for Circulating Tumor Cells (CTCs) helps doctors choose and monitor treatments. Participants give blood samples, and doctors answer surveys about how useful the CTC results are. The goal is to learn whether CTCs improve treatment decisions and disease tracking, not to test a new therapy.
