New therapy boosts resilience in mental health caregivers

Summary
This study tested a program based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for 64 caregivers of people with serious mental disorders. Half received the ACT-based training; the other half did not. The goal was to see if the program could improve caregivers' psychological resilience, stress management, and reduce the burden of caregiving. Results were measured right after the program and again two months later.
