First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a simple glucose drink test can reliably diagnose acromegaly, a condition where the body makes too much growth hormone. Researchers measured hormone levels in 109 people with and without the disease. The goal was to see if the test gives consistent results and helps doctors tell different forms of acromegaly apart.
