Summary

This study tested a single dose of the oral drug acoziborole in 35 children aged 1 to 14 with sleeping sickness (g-HAT). The goal was to see how the drug works in the body and if it is safe and effective. This simpler treatment could help control the disease in remote areas where access to care is limited.
