New gel injection aims to smooth away acne scars
NCT ID NCT07207369
Summary
This study is testing an investigational gel injection called ELAPR002f to see if it is safe and effective for improving the appearance of moderate to severe indented acne scars on the cheeks. About 395 adults will receive up to three injections over two months and be followed for a year to measure changes in scar appearance and quality of life. Some participants will receive the gel, while others will receive a saline (saltwater) control injection for comparison.
