First seen Apr 10, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests a new gel made with spironolactone against a standard acne gel (adapalene) in 40 people with mild to moderate acne. Each person will use the spironolactone gel on one side of their face and the adapalene gel on the other, so the results can be compared directly. The goal is to see which gel works better and is safer for reducing acne breakouts.
