NCT ID NCT07142369

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looks at two treatments for people with a recent ACL tear and knee swelling: draining excess fluid from the knee or injecting a substance from the patient's own blood (platelet-rich plasma). The goal is to see if these treatments reduce inflammation and cartilage damage before surgery. About 99 adults aged 18-50 who need ACL reconstruction will take part.
