New study aims to fortify ACL surgery for young athletes

Summary
This study is testing if adding a strong, internal supportive brace during a common ACL knee surgery leads to better results. Researchers will compare the standard surgery to the surgery with the extra brace in 90 young adults (ages 18-35). They will measure knee stability, pain, and function over two years to see which approach works better.
