Study looks back at two decades of ACL surgeries in kids

NCT ID NCT04644497

Summary

This study looked back at medical records to compare two different surgical techniques for repairing a torn ACL in children and teens whose bones were still growing. It involved 120 young patients who had surgery between 2001 and 2018. Researchers compared the long-term results, like leg length, knee stability, and activity levels, between an older and a newer surgical method.
