Can a special strength program before knee surgery lead to a stronger comeback?
NCT ID NCT07411625
Summary
This study is testing if a specific strength-training program before ACL knee surgery leads to better recovery than traditional pre-surgery exercises. About 84 adults waiting for surgery will be randomly assigned to follow either the new strength program or the usual exercise plan for 9 weeks. Researchers will measure muscle strength, size, and patient-reported outcomes to see which approach works best for long-term recovery.
