Knee surgery pain relief: injection or pills?

NCT ID NCT03365908

Summary

This study compares two standard ways to manage pain after surgery to repair a torn ACL knee ligament. Researchers are testing if a numbing injection in the thigh (a nerve block) works as well as taking pain pills by mouth. They will measure participants' pain levels, medication use, and how well their knee recovers over six months.
