Major study aims to stop young athletes from blowing out their knees again

NCT ID NCT03935750

Summary

This large international study aims to find the best surgical method to prevent repeat ACL injuries in young, active patients. It compares two common types of tendon grafts taken from the patient's own knee, with or without an extra stabilizing procedure. The goal is to reduce the high re-injury rate, improve long-term knee health, and help patients return to sports safely.
