First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study compares two surgical options for a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL): the standard reconstruction surgery and a newer primary repair technique. Researchers will measure muscle strength, endurance, knee stability, and balance in 45 adults who had one of these surgeries at least a year ago. The goal is to see which approach leads to better recovery and help guide future treatment choices.
